You MUST read and agree to the following;
1. Performances must be in “good taste” and family oriented.
2. Performances should not exceed 5 minutes in length.
3. Performers may NOT use profanity or show disrespectful reference to deity.
4. Fire is NOT permitted in any performance or act.
5. CD’s used by vocal performers must not contain background vocals.
6. No “special” sound equipment will be provided other than previously stated under equipment available.
7. Performers are responsible for setting up, moving and removal of props and/or equipment.
8. Although some performers may wish to perform with bare feet, particularly those performing martial arts, footwear is advisable particularly for younger children; the stage floor, which exposed to the sun, may feel uncomfortably hot for bare feet.
9. Microphones are provided.
10. A musical sound system will be available. Music to accompany acts must be recorded on CD’s.
11. Dressing rooms will not be provided, but performers may change in restrooms if they wish.
12. No special lighting or strobe lights will be permitted
13. Performers’ dress must be appropriate for a family entertainment atmosphere. Offensive or indecent outfits or clothing with rude or offensive sayings are considered inappropriate dress for performing individuals and/or groups. Violation of this policy may result in immediate disqualification, at the discretion of the Southampton Days Fair Talent Show Committee.
14. Performers must arrive and check-in at least one hour before scheduled performance
15. The Southampton Days Talent Show Committee reserves the right to reject any application for auditions and/or performances at Southampton Days Talent Show for ANY reason.
16. The Southampton Days Fair Talent Show Committee reserves the right to prohibit any individual and/or group performance from participating in the Talent Show for any violation of these rules.
